A global communications agency based in London are looking for a digital integrated Planning Director to join at an exciting growth period for our client

With a global reach, particularly in Asia, and a core of very high-profile clients in the automotive sector, our client is at an exciting time and are expanding due to organic growth and restructuring. Planning and strategy are the core focus for them and they are looking for the best talent to continue to help power their strategic offering, as well as being the thought leading in digital strategy.

Our client is looking for a Digital/Integrated Planning Director with at least 7+ years in a senior communications planning / digital strategist role and whose main responsibilities will be to manage the Planning Department across two large automotive accounts, working alongside the General Manager.

As a key member of this Agency, he/she must be adept at giving clear strategic recommendations, driving the right level of insight, to enable the creation of competitive 'ideas'. You will be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and produce work to a consistently high standard and be able to think from an integrated perspective across a modern communication landscape, whilst giving recommendations that drive digital, branding, social media, experiential and content media opportunities - a 'jack of all'.

Is it you?

The Digital /Integrated Planning Director we are looking for must be able to think from an integrated perspective, across the modern communication landscape and loves solving communication and marketing problems; love 'ideas' and be keen to see ideas implemented - particular to audience journeys and media. To be considered, you will need to display the following key skills and experience:

  • 7-10 years' experience in a senior communications planning / digital strategist role.
  • Strong management skills - to enable others to know what is required and by when
  • Excellent planning skills to divine and define strategic opportunities
  • Excellent media knowledge, particularly in digital. Excellent at media budget control.
  • Experienced at liaising with clients on a day to day basis as we have a very close Client relationship.
  • Confident and competent at using core planning tools, eg: TGI.
  • Ability to think creatively and put forward new and exciting media opportunities to clients
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines, with a strong attention to detail and an aptitude for problem solving and process
  • Great communication skills: You will be required to present to senior clients regularly
  • Microsoft office skills: A good command of Excel and Powerpoint are essential
  • Programmatic experience and Performance Planning Experience would be nice to have.

Salary: up to £90K dependent on experience
