DNA is working with a dynamic digital creative agency that helps global brands connect with Chinese audiences, utilising the power of digital to unite people and cultures.

They are now looking for a strategically-focused digital-first Creative Director to join their leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hire, develop and oversee creative and strategic teams
  • Define and champion clear and succinct visions for teams, structures/processes and client accounts
  • Own, and continuously refine products and services
  • Build structures and processes to monitor progress vs client account visions
  • Bring insights and imagination to create market-beating work
  • Ensure workloads are managed well across the team
  • Action solutions, changes and processes promptly and deliver on commitments
  • Earn a reputation as the go-to person to help the team solve problems promptly
  • Thought leader on strategy and brands, through writing, public speaking and influence

Is this you?

You'll have extensive experience as a Creative Director with leading digital agencies, and ideally speak Mandarin / Chinese. At the very least, you'll have a strong track-record helping brands break new markets and experience thriving in a multicultural environment.

Other skills required:

  • A hands-on creativewith extensive knowledge of graphic design and relevant software, film-making techniques, video editing, copywriting as well as an understanding of scripting, markup and stylesheet languages
  • A highly persuasive and emotive storyteller who can create compelling narratives while pitching ideas and directing internal teams
  • Excellent at generating concepts as well as refining/polishing ideas from the creative team
  • A keen awareness of current trends in advertising, marketing and design
  • Highly numerate, analytical and can interpret research wisely
  • Extremely intelligent and a cultural creative
  • An authoritative, independently-minded risk-taker

Up to £100k + excellent bonus + benefits
