Community Marketing Manager - Tech Start Up - Remote Working

Part Time (c3 days per week)

£50-60k (pro rata)

We're recruiting for a really exciting Tech start-up business who are set to launch a powerful and unique connectivity platform into the market.

They're looking for someone to head up their Community channel; it will be your role to develop the strategy and overall marketing plan. This will cover the pre-launch preparation phase and all the ongoing activity.

The community will consist primarily of developers and other technical people and you'll be targeting new community members with a program of influencer and advocacy activity.

You'll be devising the full marketing strategy including:

  • Community establishment and building
  • Advocate and influencer activities
  • Content Strategy
  • Social
  • PR and press platforms
  • Events
  • Online ad campaigns
  • Other broader marketing initiatives

We're looking for an established community marketing manager; someone who has experience of developing product communities (ideally to Developers). You'll have worked with Influencers particularly on YouTube and Twitter and ideally have used PR channels such as Product Hunt and Hacker News.

Above all, you'll be highly motivated by the prospect of being part of an ambitious and entrepreneurial team and the challenge of really making the community channel your own.
