DNA Recruit are working with a Digital Agency who are seeking a CakePHP Developer to join their digital team and work on medium to large-scale projects.

You will be working in a LAMP environment, developing bespoke CMS websites using CakePHP, often integrating with third party systems or APIs that require new features to be added or new websites being built from scratch.

Experience required:

• CakePHP framework (v2 to v4)
• Good understanding of MVC design pattern
• CakePHP plugin design and implementation
• MySQL/MariaDB Database design & administration
• Git version control
• Consumption of API data - XML/REST/JSON
• HTML5 - Template integration
• JavaScript & jQuery
• Ability to translate business needs into effective software
• Linux server administration, Plesk Control Panel and CSS are desirable
