Business Development Manager - Experiential - Berkshire

Salary: £55K-£65K + Commission/Benefits

DNA Recruit is proudly working with an Experiential/Brand Experience agency who are looking to hire a Business Development Manager to join their business at an exciting time of rapid growth and be capable of independently identifying high potential prospects and managing early sales funnel activities whilst building long lasting relationships.

Key responsibilities:

  • Working close with the Business and Marketing Teams to qualify high potential prospects and build a pipeline of credible leads to drive our sales funnel
  • Hunt for new opportunities and RFPs, transitioning them to the Business Director and Client Services team for onboarding and strategic account development
  • Respond to inbound sales inquiries
  • Identify new opportunities through researching companies and individuals using appropriate websites, social platforms and industry publications
  • Engage with customers across industries and geographies to understand their key drivers and promote customer engagement through the selling cycle
  • Using the CRM system to manage and track sales activities and reports
  • Providing the Sales team with triggers around specific activity, messaging or prioritisation of leads/accounts
  • Work collaboratively with the Business Director to develop an overall sales plan to maximise opportunities and generate sales activity with customers and partners.
  • Engage in pre-sales activities and drive cross and up selling opportunities through an intimate understanding of prospects and opportunities

Is it you?

  • University degree or 5+ year of experience in Sales or Business Development within Brand Experience companies
  • A data-driven approach and mindset to building sales and customer engagement
  • Proven track record of outstanding performance and achieving goals
  • Ability to understand prospect business objectives and challenges and position any solutions
  • Ability to analyse and understand competition, markets, industry and trends
  • Full understanding of the sales process and the ability to progress complex sales cycles
  • Ideally experience of HubSpot or similar sales pipeline management, reporting and CRM software to convert leads into customers
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Tech Savvy - love software, tech and excited to learn more
  • Super motivated, can-do attitude, problem solver and can work in a fast-paced environment
  • A strategic thinker who possesses strong commercial acumen and wants to succeed.
