Business Development Executive with 2 years experience in a BD role in a similar industry to join design agency who specialise in strategy, design, communications and activation to help support the implementation of their business development strategy and the wider BD team and supporting their ambition to be an authoritative voice in their industry as well as supporting business development and client acquisition. DNA Recruit are pleased to be working with this well known Design agency, founded more than six decades ago, who are part of one of the world's largest communications networks who collaborate with world class clients, developing and activating meaningful brands and communications, by researching and insight driven consultancy.

The Business Development Executive will be supporting the Business Development Director to coordinate RFI, RFP and pitch processes to ensure highest standard submissions which are delivered on time, and efficiently managed, and supporting across the new business team on all business activities. The BDE will be working closely with discipline leads, and Business Development colleagues with helping to develop marketing materials against defined discipline plans (presentations, campaigns, webinars, events) and managing BD data to ensure everything is updated and organised regularly and effectively. Other responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring all correspondence, materials, presentations, proposals seen by prospective and existing clients are error-free of highest quality, relevant to the client's business challenges, and reflective of Conran's approach to consultancy, design, and branding
  • Assisting with new business events and any follow up required.
  • Raising the profile of the agency with existing and potential clients.

Is it you?

The Business Development Executive has 2/3 years experience in a similar BD role within an agency who has a good understanding of business development and of writing RFI's and RFP's (specific experience working on reporting & brand opportunities) as well as marketing strategy and communications planning. Your team player attitude contributes to the success of the business by sharing knowledge and supporting multiple stakeholders and internal team members. You have strong organisations skills and are a self starter who is flexible, practical and pragmatic and a good knowledge of CRM, and tracking tools (Google analytic, social analytic) to measure success and get the most value from content. You have an excellent eye for detail, communication skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office and as a BDE you have the natural ability as a good networker and problem solver.

Salary: £26K
