AV Technician - Corporate Events Venue - London

Salary: £31,500

Are you an Events or Corporate AV Technician, looking to develop their career within the events industry? If so, I would love to share the details of this role with you!

DNA Recruit are working with a stunning corporate London events venue in the heart of the City, boasting incredible views of London. We are looking for a number of AV Technicians to join their fantastic team to support their clients in the delivery meetings, events and live streams on behalf of their team and clients. Supporting the Senior AV Technician to provide audio visual and production services to all users, to include installation of temporary AV set ups, running of live event and de-rig. The set ups of AV resources are in the 21 events spaces and multifunctional meeting rooms and will include fixed and mobile equipment.

The role will mainly be working Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work throughout the year and working 40 hours per week. Our client also offers a fantastic benefits package along with amazing training and development opportunities.

We are open to speaking with experienced AV Technicians, as well as new graduates looking to advance their career in AV and events. You will need to have hands on experience setting up and de-rigging live events involving manual handling. Experience of AV & VC equipment including Panasonic Projectors. Digital Mixing Consoles, Analogue Way Switchers, Panasonic PTZ cameras and Video conferencing Units, if possible. Good knowledge of general IT connectivity, LAN networks and current software package and a knowledge of lighting and control systems. You will be well presented, with a calm and professional approach and possess excellent customer service skills and awareness with an ability to work with confidence at a variety of levels of customer. Strong communication skills, with a good level of spoken English will be key and you will be able to work independently and with little supervision to deliver events. General administration skills, with the ability to juggle and prioritise a variety of tasks will be essential.
