DNA Recruit are helping a global integrated creative agency based in London whose passion and expertise is inventing ways for their clients to communicate their brand by combining brand experience, with commerce and communication. They are passionate about everything commercial creativity can bring to brands and solving the challenges and by the powers of technology they take concepts apart and rewire it in a new way.

DNA Recruit are helping their client to find an Account Director who will help to drive new propositions, brand campaigns and much more for a well-known FMGC client following their successful newly launched brand platform by ranking them as one of the leaders in its sector. Reporting to the Business Director, with 1-2 Account Managers to nurture and develop and working alongside the Strategy Director, the Account Director will be responsible for helping to shape the articulation of ideas using client and brand knowledge. As well as the day to day running of their team, the Account Director will lead a strong relationship with all departments and have a thorough understanding of how to support their team to create great work. The Account Director will present to senior stakeholders to successfully sell and defend their work and will be responsible for holding the creative work accountable against client objectives using foresight to anticipate client challenges.

Is this you?

The Account Director has retail experience and is able to work at pace and communicate with senior clients and, most importantly, is someone who is personable and who feels confident communicating with the Marketing Director and Head of Marketing. Non-negotiable is bringing their experience in managing TV productions at scale and delivering cross-channel campaigns. The Account Director is well versed in working through reconciliations, WIPs, and forecasting by working with the financial team to support managing the monthly financials on the account, bringing skills and experience in:

  • Campaign budgets, monitoring total spend forecasting and resolving any arising issues around this.
  • Passion for business building and looks for new organic growth opportunities and strives to make it better constantly.
  • Nurturing relationships with clients (BM or above) and agency staff, challenging where necessary and earning their trust.
  • Motivating and empowering reports to deliver great work as well as championing their development.
  • Commercially astute with superb attention to detail.
  • Speaking fluently about a brand's positioning, audience, the marketplace and key competitors.

Salary: £55K plus benefits
