DNA Recruit are delighted to be working with this industry leading shopper marketing agency once again who have branched out and are now an international business. They are well known for designing brand experiences and activations for well-known FMCG brands and are continually pioneering effective ways to connect the brands with their shoppers both in-store and online and keeping up with the ever changing world.


Reporting to the Business Director, the Account Director will be working on a range of accounts to deliver outstanding client service management best in class shopper campaigns. The Account Director will act as the main point of contact for projects across the client portfolio, and financial management of projects from initial quotation through to profitable delivery. Presentation of works to clients and organic business growth opportunities are just part of your day to day responsibilities which will also include:

  • Daily contact with client teams, managing expectations and keeping all stakeholders up to date on the status of each project.
  • Briefing, ongoing management and delivery of best in class creative through to in-house team.
  • Working with the Business Director to meet forecasts across the client portfolio.
  • Running of own projects and support of line manager in delivery of others.
  • Attendance at client meetings and workshops as the voice of shopper marketing.
  • Attendance at all agency briefings, workshops, hot houses etc as the voice of shopper marketing.
  • Identification of interesting / breakthrough / new communication campaigns / techniques / channels that are relevant and would interest clients.

Is this you?
Excellent shopper marketing experience gained either agency or client side will be essential in the Account Director's role of running their team as well as a hands on approach to delivering projects. Demonstrable experience of developing strong client relationships and contributing to building account profitability, and experience of delivering complex projects are all attributes our client is looking for in their Account Director.


Salary: up to £60K plus benefits
