A dynamic creative communications agency working across a variety of projects for prestige brands in the luxury, drinks and hospitality sectors is hunting for an Account Director to join the team.
Our client is a creative communications agency based in central London, whose technique for building brands is by blending brand strategy, design, activation and communications. With a stand-out proposition, they pride themselves in producing inspiring, beautiful and effective creative solutions.
The Account Director will be joining the heart of the client service team and is the focal point for management and administration of strategically sound and profitable projects, making internal people and clients happy. You will need to establish sound working relationships with internal teams and senior clients, instilling trust because of your confidence, knowledge, intuition and productivity. Some day to day duties include:
creating, retaining and building long-lasting and mutually beneficial relationships that deliver creative and commercial success
ensuring clients get the best out of their agency and the agency's opportunity with them is maximised generating
generating new business streams from existing and future clients
being the client lead across multiple, multi-disciplined projects - planning, managing P&L, forecasting, keynote writing, presenting, pitching, cross-agency management
write inspiring briefs that arm strategic and creative teams to deliver best in class work
nurturing and developing your direct reports, problem solving where necessary
allocate and manage the day-to-day resource in the agency - on time, on budget
Is it you?
We are looking for a thoroughbred Account Director who has worked with brands in the drinks industry or perhaps an ex-client that's been in the agency world for at least 3 years with a proven track record. You are an integrated whizz, where strategy, branding, innovation, shopper, experiential, brand education and advocacy are all part of your DNA. You might not necessarily be an expert in all, but you'll be a star player in some and have an appreciation of and the ability to learn fast in others.
Together with your savvy thinking, strategy is a collaborative process in the agency - so you'll need to think smart as well as be super organised. Experience working with global teams is a plus but a strong network at local market level is a must, together with experience of how drinks channels operate and the levers needed to pull for both consumer and trade. Bonus points if you have already worked within luxury and lifestyle.
You will own the day to day machine that ensure great work happens; always organised, always proactive, always hungry to add value strategically and creatively with a resilient, can-do attitude.
Salary: From £55k plus benefits.
