DNA secures Senior CRM Planner for a Creative Agency
New job title: Senior CRM Planner
Role location: London
Our client required a Strategist with expertise in CRM to join their team.
This role was needed to support the business in developing a closer relationship with their target consumers, through understanding how to engage with them on their level. This was a pivotal role in the agency, as they needed to drive their customer engagement and data offering forward.
DNA’s Consultant discussed the role with the client to gain a full understanding of the ideal candidate. It was devised that the ideal person for the role would be able to manage multiple tasks at once, whilst fitting in with the team and company culture.
To find suitable candidates for the role, the Consultant contacted individuals from the internal database that they thought would be a good fit. The job details were also published on the DNA website and advertised through Campaign Jobs.
Three candidates were shortlisted and presented to the client - all of which had the relevant skills and experience.
The interview process included an initial telephone interview, followed by a face-to-face interview. One candidate stood out in particular, having worked in the creative industry with a strong passion for CRM. After the interview, the mentioned candidate was immediately offered the role and gladly accepted.
Since undertaking their new role, our consultant kept in contact with the candidate to ensure that all was going how it should be. They have settled in well and are really enjoying doing the job.
“I don’t like to admit it but I think I was quite a difficult client to place. I have been a creative in the past, but I am a CRM practitioner at heart. However, I am also one of those people always looking to the future, I wanted a role where data and analytics lived side by side with creative and new technologies would be embraced and nurtured, in truth I was looking for a unicorn.
Lisa at DNA did not miss a step though, rather than pushing me for the wrong roles she listened to me and dedicated herself to my search. I never felt like an afterthought to her and every call was followed up with clear and concise communication that allowed me to concentrate on the important stuff. In next to no time there was an interview for the perfect role.
I always felt the Consultant and DNA understood who I was, and what was the best role for me. I never felt pressured for roles I wasn’t suited for and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a role in the future.”
“This was a challenging brief; great strategy talent is hard to find at the best of times let alone top CRM Strategists with experience in the luxury/automotive sector. The candidate had previously applied for roles that weren’t quite right given his limited agency background, however the client saw this as a great opportunity.”
