Leila Denison-Pender, a new member of the DNA team, comes from a background in marketing prior to joing the world of recruitment. Leila worked for over 10 years for various market research agencies (Nielsen, Harris, Millward Brown/WPP), occupying client servicing roles on a permanent as well as freelance basis. This experience has allowed her to develop relationships with clients from a variety of industries (FMCG: P&G/Nestle; Finance: UBS; Telecoms: Vodafone/Orange; Healthcare: GSK; Retail: TK Maxx/Tesco, amongst others) and to work in partnership with these clients on an array of marketing & business issues.
After setting up a couple of start-ups and successfully driving the marketing strategy of these entrepreneurial ventures, Leila had an inclination that recruitment would be a good fit for her personality. She first joined a company specialised in contract work in the industrial sector where she learned the trade in a fast paced environment.
She then decided to combine her marketing background with her newly gained recruitment experience and join DNA to develop the Freelance Account Handling desk. She bring with her knowledge of the agency world, of client servicing roles and of contract recruitment, as well as having worked as a freelancer herself.
Leila thrives in building lasting and trustful relationships with both clients and candidates alike. She has a strong sense of customer service and will always attempt to go the extra mile to add value to clients and nurture candidates.
From an international background, Leila is looking forward to using her language skills (she speaks French, Spanish and Italian) and international network to the benefit of clients and candidates in such a moving and global marketplace.
Leila is keen to keep on learning – from clients, from candidates and from the whole DNA team.
