A rival to many of the big international contractors, this company specialise in Construction and they now require a Planning Manager/Experienced Planning Manager to take over a current tender and start a ground breaking new project. As the Planning Manager, you will be leading a team of dedicated Planners to achieve your goals.
The Role of Planning Manager
This prestigious Multi disciplined contractor is looking for a Planning Manager to work on a new build construction project in Dubai. This project has been very well publicised and this company is the 1st tier contractor. As a Planning Manager you will be in control of 4-5 projects at a time so previous experience of a similar workload will be required.
Duties will include:
- Managing a team of 10-15Planners/Senior Planners
- Creating and submitting tenders to acquire new business
- Completion of monthly reporting dashboard and preparation of documentation required for Formal Management Meeting to tight time lines and changing requirements to reflect the requirements of the programme.
- Production of financial reporting information for both project and corporate budgets, production of the budget tracking documentation (‘Blue Sheet'), generation of variance analysis and submission of accruals data.
- Contract Management.
Key attributes:
As a Planning Manager you will have 10-15 years experience working on Construction projects. You must have good communication skills and you will possess extensive Primavera knowledge also, users of Asta Power Project could be considered for this role. You must also be educated to Degree Level.
The Successful Candidate
To be successful in this role you will be an experienced Planning Manager and will need to posses the following experience:
- Construction experience within a Blue Chip Contractor, preferably working on a new build project but this is not essential.
- Measured and well organised approach
- Confident communication, both in writing and in internal and external presentations
- Confident handler with P5 or P6, Asta Power Project, MS Project or Primavera.
In Return
- Basic salary of up to 50,000AED per month (Dependant on experience).
- Plus a package which, dependant on the candidate, can include accommodation, car, medical, flights and utility bills.
