They are celebrated in the Middle East as one of the big 5 Contractors and this reputation has been built on a foundation of fantastic projects and willingness to succeed. They now require a Senior Planner/Experienced Senior Planner for a new build Commercial project situated in Qatar.
The Role of Senior Planner
This prestigious Construction contractor is looking for a Senior Planner to work on a new build construction project in Qatar. This project has been very well publicised and this company is the 1st tier contractor. This project is part of an even bigger “Mega Project” and will add a high degree of reputation to any CV.
Duties will include:
- Compiling submissions to funders committee
- Completion of monthly reporting dashboard and preparation of documentation required for Formal Management Meeting to tight time lines and changing requirements to reflect the requirements of the programme.
- Production of financial reporting information for both project and corporate budgets, production of the budget tracking documentation (‘Blue Sheet'), generation of variance analysis and submission of accruals data.
- Contract Management and administration.
Key attributes:
As a Senior Planner you will have 6-10 years experience working on Construction projects. You must have good communication skills and you will possess extensive Primavera knowledge also, users of Asta Power Project could be considered for this role. Candidates educated to Degree Level will be looked upon favourably.
The Successful Candidate
To be successful in this role you will be an experienced Senior Planner and will need to posses the following experience:
- Construction experience within a Blue Chip Contractor, preferably working on a new build project. Middle Eastern experience is preferred, but UK experience would also be beneficial for this outstanding new project
- Measured and well organised approach
- Confident communication, both in writing and in internal and external presentations
- Confident handler with P5 or P6, Asta Power Project, MS Project or Primavera.
In Return
- Basic salary of around 15,000 AED per month
- Plus a package which will include accommodation, car, medical, flights and utility bills. The only thing you have to pay for is your food and drink!
