Who They are Looking for?
The Managing Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor will need to be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills; comprehensive commercial awareness, sound construction knowledge, core quantity surveying and claims control expertise, and the ability to deliver projects not only to budget but to time scales.
You will ideally have worked in the Middle East before, but this is not essential.
Preference will be given to candidates who have experience of working on apartment blocks, mixed use and multi storey projects.
You may have experience of High Rise projects with 7 -15 or more floors, or large commercial developments.
You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, negotiation, leadership and the ability to multi task.
The Role of the Managing Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor
You will be working with your team on a range of large scale developments with emphasis on delivering an exceptional service and claims avoidance. The successful candidate must have prior experience of the entire construction process.
You will be using your quantity surveying skills to effectively manage the commercial aspects of these large and awe inspiring projects.
