We are working with one of the worlds largest international consultancies. This prestigious firm is involved on some of the largest and exciting projects in Dubai. They are currently recruiting a Structural Engineer / Experienced Structural Engineer within buildings and high-rise based in Dubai, UAE.
The Role of the Structural Engineer
As a Structural Engineer you will act as a site representative to ensure effective structural works. You will review and approve and process all structural technical submittals, coordinate and supervise structural work, review and analyse any structural change orders. Work with all relevant 3rd parties and assist with works inspections. The project work is high rise buildings.
As a structural engineer you will undertake detailed design and calculations across various structural materials including RC and Steel.
ESSENTIAL Experience Required for the Structural Engineer position:
- Experience in Structural Analysis using ETABS, SAFE and ADAPT
- Good command of ACI, UBC, AISC standards or UK Codes
- Proficiency in wind and seismic analysis and FEM based computer programmes
- Medium to High Rise RC and Steel structures experience in buildings
- 10 - 15 years experience in Structural Engineering - Building Structures
- Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
