From historic buildings to airfields, from new build to land remediation projects, this consultancy has the expertise to optimise project value, advising on contracts and procurement as well as project management
The Principal Building Surveyor will manage and co-ordinate the work of a small team of Building Surveyors.
You will also be expected to provide the full range of traditional building surveying services for a variety of Public and Private sector projects.
Job role
The role involves working closely with his/ her team as well as clients, facilities managers, design teams and contractors.
Providing support work winning, writing bids, preparing fee quotes and spotting potential opportunities are key elements of this role.
*Your key responsibilities would include the full range of building surveying services
*Management of fee/ resource budgets
*Management & supervision of staff
*Maintenance of professional standards including QA checking all deliverables
*Client supports
*Assisting with work winning
Ideal Candidate
You must be Chartered (MRICS) and have a good level of competency in the use of Micro soft office software (Word& Excel)
You must have experience in managing / supervising staff
You must have a mature outlook coupled with an ability to work under pressure whilst producing consistent, good quality results.
