Junior Planner - Construction - Dubai

This company is one of the biggest and well known Contractors in the UAE and they are most prominent in Dubai. They are an International contractor with offices all over the world. Their biggest markets are based in the UK and Dubai and this household name now requires a Junior Planner with experience in Construction for their existing project in Dubai.
The Role of Junior Planner
This prestigious Construction contractor is looking for a Junior Planner to work on a new build Construction project in Dubai. This project is a High Rise building near Dubai Marina and will be 101 storeys.
Duties will include:
-You will be shadowing a Planner to begin with, so that you understand how a Planner works on site in a Construction environment.
-You will be trained in Primavera 3.1 to begin with, but as your training develops, you will be introduced to P5.
-After 6 months (or when you are ready) you will be given your own section of the project to work on.
Key attributes
As a Junior Planner you will have 1 or 2 years experience working on Construction and building projects. You must have good communication skills and you will possess some Primavera knowledge but this is not essential. If you do not have any construction experience, you may still be considered for this role.
The Successful Candidate
To be successful in this role you will be an experienced Junior Planner and will need to posses the following experience:
- Construction experience within a Blue Chip Contractor, preferably working on a new build project but this is not essential.
- Experience as a practicing Junior Planner with preferably an engineering background
- Measured and well organised approach
- Confident communication, both in writing and in internal and external presentations
- Some exposure to P3,4,5 or 6 would be beneficial.
In Return
- Basic salary of up to 15,000AED per month (Dependant on experience)
