This worldwide consultancy are currently looking for a CDM Co-ordinator/experienced CDM Co-ordinator to join their busy Health and Safety team in the North West offering regional support within their Highways Division.
Working primarily across the water, property, power and transportation sectors this consultancy are leading UK providers of planning, design and management services for infrastructure development worldwide. Due to an increase in demand for this consultancy's services, they are providing this great opportunity for an experienced CDM Co-ordinator to join the Health and Safety team. You will assist in developing business for this consultancy in the CDM Co-ordinator role and join the Health and Safety team with their planning, design and management services in the North West.
As the ideal CDM Co-ordinator for this North West role you will have excellent Client facing skills and be able to communicate at all levels. In addition to being able to liaise with the Client you will also be in close contact with Health and Safety officials, designers and contractors and therefore it is essential that you have excellent communication skills.
You will be fully experienced in the role and responsibilities of the CDM Co-ordinator and fully competent in the delivery of health and safety consultancy advice.
Due to the nature of this role the suitable CDM Co-ordinator will have a background and/or qualifications in engineering and experience within highways with particular consideration being given to CDM Co-ordinators with an IEng in an engineering discipline. In addition you will have qualifications in Health and Safety with particular focus on the NEBOSH construction certificate or NEBOSH General certificate along with a thorough understanding of the CDM regulations 2007.
Experience in project and financial management would be preferable for this role as there will be some elements of managing project finances involved.
