A glorious opportunity has arisen for a Senior Building Surveyor to join a developing team within at one of the country's leading multi-disciplinary organisation, to support its continued growth and success.
In Brief
The Senior Building Surveyor will form part of the management team within the Chelmsford office working alongside other team leaders and the office manager delivering all core Building Surveying services on a variety of Buildings and will proactively manage key client relationships within both our blue chip and public sector clients.
Job Responsibilities
The main duties will be focused around the Team management, Client management and business development.
*General business development and assisting in the preparation of new bids and fee quotations
*Management and mentoring of assistant and junior surveyors and over seeing day to day activities.
*Dealing with building repairs to all property types.
*Alterations, extensions and refurbishments
*Defect diagnosis and analysis
*Condition and detailed building surveys
*Planned maintenance and minor repairs
*Survey and report writing for the full range of typical core building surveying consultancy services.
Does this Sound like you?
*You will need to be Chartered (MRICS)
*You must have experience in working for multiple and varied clients on a consultancy basis
*The ability to mentor, lead and motivate surveyors, trainees and other team members.
*Have excellent communication and presentational skills
*A current full clean driving licence is required
*Have a Basic knowledge of building services

A salary of £38,000 - £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)
