Are you an enthusiastic Building Surveyor seeking a position with a supportive consultancy?
Job Role
The main part of your role will be undertaking Building Conditions Surveys, including assessment of existing conditions and defects diagnosis.
You will be providing general building surveying support to the existing team at Birmingham in all aspects of building surveying including contract administration, specification writing, budget costing, tendering procedures and on site supervision
You will also provide support in all aspects of professional work including Dilapidations, party wall, schedules of conditions and acquisition surveys.
Ideal Candidate/ Training and Development
This role would suit an assistant building surveyor who has BSc (Hons) in Building Surveying and be wishing to undertake their APC in pursuit of full RICS membership
*The assistant building surveyor will have a good understanding of differing building types in respect of structural form, size and use.
*You will need to be particularly up to date in Commercial and Education properties.
*A basic knowledge of AutoCAD would be an advantage
This consultancy is keen to assist individuals in developing any work related professional interests.
Salary& Benefits
A salary of £24,000+ per annum depending on experience/ Qualifications
24 days holiday (rising to 26 after 5 years)
