CDM Co-ordinator - International Consultancy - Manchester
This international consultancy provides a range of services to a variety of Clients in both the public and private sectors. Services provided include environmental and engineering along with planning and management solutions. This international consultancy now has a great opportunity for a CDM Co-ordinator/Intermediate CDM Co-ordinator for their North West office in Manchester.
The role
You will be working alongside the Manchester Health and Safety team but you will have the ability to work autonomously and be able to act on your own initiative when required. You will also have experience in the role of CDM Co-ordinator and/or the role and responsibilities of Health and Safety within construction.
You will have sound knowledge of the CDM regulations and proposed forthcoming changes and as the perfect CDM Co-ordinator for this role in Manchester you will have experience in the following:
- H&s projects in a construction environment
- Carrying out site inspections as a health and safety advisor /CDM Co-ordinator.
- Be able to prepare health and safety policies and procedures in line with the role of CDM Co-ordinator.
- Demonstrate the ability to interact with senior members of design teams and clients.
- Be able to conduct a health and safety/hazard workshop within a professional design team.
You will be professionally qualified within construction either with the NEBOSH General/Construction certificate or member of the APS/IOSH and will be a CDM Co-ordinator/Health and Safety professional with good communication skills along with a flexible, hands-on approach.

In return for the above experience this international consultancy offers a competitive salary of between £32,000 - £44,000 plus excellent benefits working from their Manchester office and offering regional support for the North West.
