Construction Manager / Fit Out Construction Manager; This is a great opportunity to join a young, forward thinking Main Contractor with unrivalled expertise in the construction and fit out of highly serviced, first class, high rise buildings in the centre of London; safely, on time and within budget. In the last 10 years they have built 10 million square feet of commercial office space and 500,000 square feet of retail space in London's Canary Wharf.
The Role of the Construction Manager
This company currently require candidates whose attention to detail client relation skills will enable them to play a significant part in high profile projects. The successful candidate will be responsible to the Senior Construction Manager for the supervision of Fit Out activities. You must have key Residential and/or Commercial Fit Out experience, project will include; offices, trading floors, health clubs and swimming pools and retail. Preferably you will be experienced in projects of over £10M and come from a Main Contractor background. This position is predominately site based in Canary Wharf, East London.
Requirements of the Construction Manager
· Significant previous experience with a Main Contractor in managing or supervising site construction work, preferably Fit Out work, is essential
· Relevant trade qualifications or academic qualification is essential
· Ability to influence and work with others with a positive, cooperative, and problem solving mindset is essential
· A intermediate level of IT literacy is essential
· You must have a reasonable level of numeracy and literacy
