Overview
Construction Manager / Experienced Construction Manager Overview; We are working with a leading Main Contractor who provides a portfolio of construction services across a wide range of market sectors in New Build, Refurb and Fit Out. This position is for projects of over £10 based in Central London.
The Role of the Construction Manager;
Due to an increase in work load, a Construction Manager is needed to deliver projects to the client within budget, quality assurance standards, on program and within safety parameters. The New Build, Refurb and Fit Out projects will be within the Commercial, Retail, Education and Mixed Use/Residential sectors in Central London. You will take a leading role to ensure adoption of innovative ideas from within the business and from the workforce and will be expected to manage all work site based activity, in addition you should also be an excellent communicator and motivator. You will need to be a good organiser with a commitment to excellence.
The requirements of the Construction Manager;
- A stable background with a UK top 40 Main Contractor
- A proven track record on similar New Build, Refurb and Fit Out projects to a similar value
- The ability to deliver a quality, snag-free product
- You'll need excellent customer facing skills
- Strong motivational and management qualities
- Ability to deliver to tight deadlines under pressure
What can the successful Construction Manager expect in return?
- Salary of around £55k depending on experience
