Overview
Construction Manager / Experienced Construction Manager; We are currently working with the UK's largest and most successful Main Contractor with an annual turnover of around £800m. They require an experienced Construction Manager for a Social Housing Framework in Essex.
The Role of the Construction Manager;
Working in the Essex Social Housing division for this Main Contractor you will be expected to manage and co-ordinate all project construction activities and ensure that all project deliverables are achieved with regard to safety, quality, programme and cost. As Construction Manager you will manage and motive the site team and sub-contractors and maintain the highest possible standard of safety performance at all times. You should also be an excellent communicator with skills to include setting development and performance goals. You should display the drive and determination to get the job done.
The requirements of the Construction Manager;
- Experience in similar roles in Social Housing for a leading UK Main Contractor
- You'll need excellent customer facing skills
- Strong motivational and management qualities
- Ability to deliver to tight deadlines under pressure
- You should have a construction qualification
- Have drive and energy
What can the successful Construction Manager expect in return?
- Salary of around £55k depending on experience
- Car/travel allowance
