Senior Construction Manager / Construction Manager Overview; We are currently working with one of the UK's largest and most successful Main Contractors, a FTSE 250 company with an annual turnover of £4bn. The Building Division are a UK market leader in commercial building and the role is based in Central London.
The Role of the Senior Construction Manager;
Working for the Construction division of this successful Main contractor you will be expected to manage all production and associated functions on site, including pre-actively liaising with both the delivery team and the project manager/director about the programming and resourcing of the works, which are in Central London. You will need to plan, co-ordinate and review the progress of the construction taking any necessary corrective action to meet, and where possible, exceed the expectations of the client. You should also be an excellent communicator and manager.
The requirements of the Construction Manager;
- Proven track record in similar roles within a leading UK Main Contractor
- You'll need excellent customer facing skills and be a relationship builder
- Strong motivational and management qualities
- Ability to deliver to tight deadlines under pressure and within budget
- You should have a construction qualification
- Have drive and energy
What can the successful Construction Manager expect in return?
- Salary up to £60k depending on experience
- Car/travel allowance
