Construction Manager - Olympics London
Main Contractor
Salary - up to £65k + Exceptional Benefits
We are currently working with the UK's largest and most successful main contractor with an annual turnover of around £800m. They require an experienced Construction Manager to work on a very large and prestigious multi-million pound Olympics new-build project in East London.
The role of the Construction Manager;
As Construction Manager you will be expected to manage and lead by example, all worksite based activity, with particular responsibility for safety, quality, production, specification, time and budget. This will include setting development and performance goals, monitoring and assisting with the achievement. You should also be an excellent communicator with the skills to both motivate your team and liaise with the sub-contractors. This is an incredibly challenging yet rewarding role and you should display the drive and determination to get the job done.
The requirements of the Construction Manager;
- Experience in similar roles within a top 40 Main Contractor
- You'll need to be commercially astute with excellent customer facing skills
- Strong motivational and management qualities
- Ability to deliver to tight deadlines under pressure
- Educated to at least HNC level
- Have drive and energy
