Overview


This is a challenging opportunity for a Senior Construction Manager to join one of Britain's largest house-builders to work on a number of existing and upcoming large-scale projects in London.

Projects range from social housing and urban regeneration to up-market housing and commercial property development, the role of Senior Construction Manager has arisen due to an increase of work in the London area.


The Role of the Senior Construction Manager

The projects are mainly apartment builds ranging from 900+ units to a luxury project of just 12 with values of £3mil+ each. You will need to hit the ground running as there are a number of existing projects that require immediate attention, you need the ability to step in and take control from day one.

The company prides themselves on the highest levels of Environmental, Health and Safety these values must be enforced strongly without compromise. As Senior Construction Manager you must be commercially astute and capable controlling expenditure in line with budgets and forecast. Co-ordination with all other departments in particular Technical, Commercial and Sales will necessitate excellent communication skills.


The Role of the Senior Construction Manager Requires;

• A proven track record working with a main contractor & housebuild experience
• Client focused with excellent levels of customer service and communication skills
• The ability to deliver a quality, snag free product on time and within budget
• Be able to forecast and plan works to meet tight deadlines
• True determination to get the job done
• The ability to overcome inertia!


What can the successful Senior construction Manager expect in return?

• Basic salary of around £60k depending on experience
